This is the state. This is the Boss. Stand your ground. Keep your head. Remember why you struggle. Remember your heart. 

Probably the best counter to this kind of behavior is to turn it back on the oppressor. Ask this poor man if he is in trouble. Ask them if they need help. Ask them if they are being forced to behave this way and that you can help them. This is how we win, by being aware of how low they will sink and keeping our humanity.
